OsTicket Installation

Step 1: download osticket from osticket download center and get the latest release.

Step 2: Extract and Upload the files on your web server or to your local.

Step 3: Make sure that the ostconfig.php file is writable.

Step 4: Create a fresh new database name. (phpmyadmin if you install xampp)

Step 5: Go to yoursite.com/setup to begin the installation. or yoursite.com/osticket.folder/upload/setup

Step 6: Enter your desired title, your url and email.

Create an admin user.

Enter your database info.

Now just click install.

Congratulations osTicket basic installation completed! Now you can go to your admin pannel : yoursite.com/scp/admin.php or view the post installation guide:
Don’t forget to change the CHMOD permission to 644 for the ostconfig.php file and delete the setup/ directory. Or if in windows, right click and set the properties to read only
